"The friends of Martinique"
The Les Amis de Martinique program is for those who enjoy the Pirate Festival and enjoy being pampered and having special privileges.
As a member, you will have access to the special members-only garden that has been set aside for your enjoyment and relaxation. Here you will find a changing area, private privies, unlimited non-alcoholic refreshments, fruit, and possibly other special treats.
During the run of the Festival there will be special programs that only you have the opportunity to attend. There might even be a special B-B-Q or potluck luncheon from time to time, and our hosts will constantly be looking for ways to make your stay on the isle of Martinique more memorable and enjoyable.
Membership has its privilages and your membership is not just limited to the 3 weeks of the Pirate Fest! As a member, you will be notified of special events and happenings throughout the course of the year and have access to a members-only web forum where you can discuss virtually anything.
Renaissance St Louis, Inc, the producers of St Louis Pirate Festival, also operates the Greater St Louis Renaissance Faire in the spring and Les Amis de Lyon membership is available during this annual event. You , as a member of Les Amis de Martinique, will have an early opportunity to join this other "friends" group.
Les Amis de Martinique Membership includes:
- A special medallion indicating the person’s membership
- A "Les Amis de Lyon" t-shirt
- Preferred parking area close to the front gate
- Access to a "Member’s Only" garden for relaxation and conversation (including a private privy)
- Private changing area
- Unlimited water and other "soft" beverages to drink
- Storage of items while you are attending the Festival
- A discount from participating select merchants
- A members-only e-newsletter and forum
- An invitation to Les Amis de Martinique events throughout the year
Membership Investment is $35.00 per year
Each member will receive a membership card with the dates of membership on it and should submit it
upon request. Children under 12 can have access to the garden when accompanied by a paid member
at no extra cost.
